Top 5 Maps and Navigation Apps on Android in France, Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the top maps and navigation applications on the Android platform in France showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at over 46K in early July, before experiencing a gradual decline to approximately 33K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users started at around 9.3M, reaching a high of nearly 9.7M mid-quarter, before settling at about 8.7M.

Île-de-France Mobilités saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, climbing from 23K in early July to over 42K at the end of September. The application’s weekly active users began at 834K, dipping initially but then rising to nearly 983K by the quarter’s close.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced steady downloads with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, from 23K in late June to about 21K in September. Active users showed a fluctuating pattern, starting at 444K, decreasing mid-quarter, and then stabilizing around 362K.

Uber - Request a ride maintained consistent weekly downloads, ranging from 19K to 22K, ending the quarter at around 22K. Active users showed a slight downturn at the beginning, followed by recovery, ending with approximately 1.03M.

Bonjour RATP had a steady rise in downloads, starting at 18K and reaching 18K by the end of September. Active users showed a recovery from 1.04M in early September to 1.06M by the month's end.
